For 40 years Virgil has been Membership Secretary and Treasurer of the Huntley National Association where he also served as the Historian for many years. Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by Gov. Julian Carroll on 14 July, 1978.
Virgil is also a "Charter Member" of the 192nd F.A.B.N. Association.
